As my dad used to say, “You betcha.” The proviso is that you need a team that can show named results, not a dashboard full of vanity rankings. Yes, I am going to point at our own work. The numbers below are already published on this site. We are not adding new ones here.

SEO works when the page matches what a buyer types, Google can crawl it, and other signals (the map profile, links, reviews) back it up. It fails when someone sells “first page in 30 days,” stuffs keywords, or reports traffic that never becomes a call. Basic SEO is the mechanism. The case studies are the proof.

Skylark Counselling Clinic

Skylark did not hire us first, and they did not get results, like none. The clinic was basically invisible on the internet. Keara and Nick rebuilt the campaign around on-page structure, the Google Business Profile, technical fixes, and links from real sites.

Organic traffic rose 300% in the first year and 1,135% over two years. Discovery searches were up 427.36%. They reached a top 3 spot in Google Maps for “downtown Vancouver counseling clinics” against more than 15 competitors. That write-up is the Skylark Counselling SEO case study.

Designer Closet Guys

We have been working with Designer Closet Guys on the website and an SEO campaign. In the first quarter of 2025 they improved position on several keywords and stayed in the top three on the terms we were watching. When Keara searched “custom closets Mission,” Designer Closet Guys sat at the top of the page in Google’s AI summary. That kind of visibility is hard to buy with a boost post. The site work is in the Designer Closet Guys website case study.

Anser Power Systems, Abbotsford

Anser Power Systems needed Abbotsford customers already searching for generator maintenance, repairs, rentals, and electrical contracting. The services were on the site. Search was not sending enough of those people through to a call or a form.

The ranking report shows 19 tracked keywords in Google’s top 10, including #1 for “generator services” and “generator maintenance abbotsford.” From organic search in the reported quarter, contact form submissions were up 57% and phone clicks up 33% on the previous quarter. Full detail: Anser Power Systems SEO case study.

Absolutely Covered

Absolutely Covered needed the site to sell commercial and industrial fabric buildings, not look like a maintenance shop. IIAS started in January 2025 with industry, project, and building-style pages Google could actually rank.

By Q2 2026, organic sessions were up 23% and organic quote requests were up 125%. By September 2026 they were tracking 41 Google rankings, including #1 for forestry fabric buildings. Read Absolutely Covered SEO.

Mountain Ridge Handcrafted Homes

Mountain Ridge is a log-home builder with a limited market. The published campaign focused on visibility, the product, and a wider geography, not on stuffing “log homes” into every page. Users in January 2020 were up 736% versus January 2019 (736 vs 63). Organic traffic rose 1,828% over 18 months. January 2021 saw 1,176 users from Google. That write-up is the Mountain Ridge SEO case study.

AG Criminal Law, Abbotsford

Allen Goldin needed a new criminal defence site with no organic rankings and no local presence. By April 2026, AG Law ranked #1 or #2 across the tracked Abbotsford GeoGrid for “criminal lawyers Abbotsford,” with an average grid rank of 1.37 and 100% Share of Local Voice (from 21.00 and 0%). Organic coverage grew to about 100 tracked keywords, including #1 for violent crime lawyer and probation violation lawyer. Google Business Profile in August 2026: 1,130 impressions (+937% year over year). Full detail: AG Criminal Law SEO.

Fraser Valley Pediatric Dentistry

Families in Abbotsford needed to find specialized kids’ dental care, not a generic dentist page. In the Aug 5 to Sep 3, 2026 window, organic sessions rose 51% year over year to 160. All 14 tracked keywords sat on page one (positions 4 to 6), including #4 for pediatric dentist Abbotsford. “Dentist near me for kids” jumped 21 positions to #4. Clearbrook Animal Hospital

Clearbrook Animal Hospital has served Abbotsford since 2008. The published results: Google Maps website visits up 73.40% to 515, direction requests up 157.20% to 643, calls up 65.92% to 1,626, organic visits up 55.70% to 2,745, and top-3 keywords up 500% to 24. That is the Clearbrook Animal Hospital SEO case study.

Sterling Patrol, Chilliwack

Sterling Patrol is a security company serving Chilliwack and Burnaby. Buyers type specific jobs: construction site security, fire watch, concierge guards, cameras on a job site. The published result is local pack dominance: multiple #1 rankings, including Chilliwack concierge security guards and firewatch security, 15+ page-one keywords, and position gains of +99 on terms where the searcher is ready to hire. See Sterling Patrol SEO.

What those examples have in common

None of them are “we posted blogs until Google noticed.” Each one started with the searches a paying customer already uses, built pages for those searches, and measured calls or quotes, not just sessions. Local businesses also needed the map pack. That is why search engine optimization at IIAS includes the Google Business Profile, not as an add-on.

Timeframes differ. Skylark’s traffic story is measured in years. Anser’s form and phone lifts are quarter over quarter. Absolutely Covered’s quote lift showed up after the new commercial pages went live. Anyone who quotes a single universal deadline is selling, not reporting.

When SEO does not work

It does not work if the business cannot serve the geography Google thinks you are in, if the site blocks crawl, or if the offer is weaker than the three names already on the map. It also does not work if you stop after a title-tag pass. Ask for Search Console, the live URLs, and dates you can open. If the vendor will not show those, the “results” are a slide deck. How to choose an SEO company is the checklist we wish every owner used before they signed a year of invoices. The SEO buyer guide covers contracts and red flags in more detail.
